Peacemaker’s BFF Eagly gets his own Funko figure!

In case you’ve been living under a rock, the HBO Max original Peacemaker series from James Gunn has been a monster of a a hit and renewed for a second season. While Funko has unveiled a new wave of Pop! figures based on the first season Peacemaker including Peacemaker himself, Vigilante, Judomaster, and perhaps the breakout character of the series Eagly! Arriving this July, the figures are available now for pre-order.

Seeing John Cena in his “tighty-whities” will never not be amusing. We also get that iconic moment of the titular character hugging his pet eagle. In a testament to the popularity of Eagly, the character made his DC Comics debut in the “Love of Country” story by Rex Ogle, Geraldo Borges, Nick Flardi, and Ferran Delgado as part of the Strange Love Adventures anthology book last month.

Here’s hoping the rest of the Peacemaker “11th Street Kids” get their own Funko figures including Emilia Harcourt, Leota Adebayo, John Economos, and Clemson Murn. I wouldn’t be surprised if Peacemaker’s father Auggie Smith gets his own White Dragon Funko figure in the near future.

Picking up where The Suicide Squad (2021) left off, Peacemaker returns home after recovering from his encounter with Bloodsport – only to discover that his freedom comes at a price.
