No Ubisoft Connect account needed for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is less than a month from releasing on the Nintendo Switch, so marketing for the game is in full swing. A lot of information about the game has been shared, but there has still been questions about how much Ubisoft Connect, Ubisoft‘s successor to Uplay, would be involved with the game.

Previously, Ubisoft tweeted that you would need a Ubisoft Connect account to play Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. However, Ubisoft Support is now saying that it’s the exact opposite, that an account will not be mandatory to play the game. Their tweet is down below.
