I actually find “Alpha influencers” to be morbidly fascinating, because they embody so much of the rising fascist movement. I suppose some readers won’t view this as a political cartoon, but as far as I’m concerned, these massive, highly symbolic cultural movements are where politics is actually happening. Traditional coverage of “real” horserace politics misses all of the underlying worldview that leads to lunatics getting elected.
