Vault’s QUESTS ASIDE #1 sells out and gets second printing with a new cover

Comic News

When the adventuring party is no longer questing, where do they go? That’s what Vault Comics’ new series Quests Aside centers on. Written by Brian Schirmer and with Elena Gogou on art (colorist Rebecca Nalty, letterer AndWorld Design, and designer Tim Daniel round out the team), the adventure comedy title debuted this week, but it has already sold out, prompting the publisher to send the book back for a second printing.

The new printing will feature a superb RPG rulebook-inspired re-design of Max Sarin’s phenomenal issue #1 cover art. This will hit stores on June 8th, the same day issue #2 is slated to release.

The full synopsis for QUESTS ASIDE #1 is below:

A skeleton, an apprentice mage, and an exiled princess walk into a bar… for another shift at Quests Aside, the local watering hole run by once legendary, now retired adventurer Barrow.

When the King privately explains that he plans to shut the place down, Barrow must find a way to hold onto his business and the family he’s built around it.

It’s always sunny in the realms!
