Southeast Asian esports organisation EVOS Esports has announced an exclusive collaboration with digital currency trading platform Zipmex.
The partnership will see EVOS Esports’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang division become a part of Zipmex’s marketing campaign.
As a part of the deal, EVOS Esports athletes and staff will be showcasing Zipmex’s logo in their marketing materials, as well as run streaming campaigns for the trading platform.
According to Stefan Chong, EVOS Esports’s Business Development Lead for Singapore, the partnership marks the start of the organisation’s journey into digital platforms.
“Zipmex is a huge start. When we sat down with them back in early August, we loved their energy,” said Chong.
“Their reputation in the digital assets space is ever-growing and we are extremely humble on their willingness to work with EVOS Esports as part of their marketing roadmap.”
Based in Singapore, Zipmex is a digital asset platform that also operates in Thailand, Indonesia and Australia. The platform enables its users to invest in a variety of digital assets, aiming to give them access to ‘new ways of building wealth’.
Zipmex recently announced a Series B investment of over $41m (~£29.9m), which will be used to develop and improve the platform, as well as attempt to serve more users.
Esports Insider says: This marks yet another addition to EVOS Esports’s growing roster of partners, ranging from food and apparel companies to banks and crypto platforms. It’s clear that various companies are seeking to leverage the organisation’s rapid growth in the Southeast Asian region and according to the press release, EVOS fans can look forward to even more announcements in the future.
