Are you ready to teach the mutant scum a lesson they will never forget? Blaster Master Zero is here and ready to roll out with the most retro of offerings on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

Available to purchase and download from the Xbox Store this very minute, Blaster Master Zero comes to Microsoft’s finest console after spending many a year kicking around on Nintendo 3DS and Switch, PC and PS4. With release on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S though, it’s time for Xbox gamers to head back to the golden age of the NES.

Priced at £8.99, Blaster Master Zero comes out of the original Blaster Master from 1988, before the INTI CREATES team added on a host of additional features and extras. With release on Xbox that means Blaster Master Zero sees added areas and bosses included, along with a host of additional weapons, enhanced exploration mechanics and more.

A two-player mode is available for those capable of gaming with a friend via local cooperative play too, and that will mean that those really looking to take it to the mutant scum will be able to do so with a mate in tow.

If taking down big bosses and enjoying a 2D action adventure that was originally created decades ago is to your fancy, you’ll find a download of Blaster Master Zero available from the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Go and give it a shot. We are – we’ll drop some review thoughts at some point too.
