Here’s how Dark Horse describes Minecraft Volume 3:

Candace, Evan, Grace, Tobi, and Tyler continue their adventures in the world of Minecraft when they stumble upon a mysterious ruined portal. Arriving in a strange corner of the Nether that they’ve never seen, the group turn to their Nether expert, Grace, for help.

As they face new threats, Grace finds that the team’s reliance on her in the Nether is hitting a breaking point. When the group finds themselves deep in a bastion, they must face their most intense challenge yet…without their expert. It’ll take the full force of the entire group to overcome the unknown!

Minecraft Volume 3 is the latest book produced by Dark Horse in partnership with Swedish video game developer Mojang Studios. Volumes 1 and 2 of the series were also written by Monster, illustrated by Graley and Purenins, and lettered by Hill, with the first volume released in 2019 and the second released last year.

Another Dark Horse Minecraft series, Wither Without You, is both written and illustrated by Henchgirl creator Kristen Gudsnuk. The first book of that series released last year, while a second volume is due out in May. An anthology collection, Minecraft: Stories from the Overworld, was also released in 2019.

Look for the softcover graphic novel Minecraft Volume 3 to arrive in stores on October 26th, 2021.
